This workshop will teach the procedures of portrait painting: from quick sketches to works extending over several sessions. We will study how to attain both likeness aliveness and how to attain solid drawing and good color. You will learn the skills and diverse procedures that will allow you to draw and paint portraits of those close to you, or any sitter you choose. 
Prior portrait-drawing experience is recommended.
